Sam Smith looked elated after having their portrait drawn while out in New York City on Thursday. The musician, 31, who has declared a preference for 'they/them' pronouns, took a seat in the street while artist, Devon Rodriguez, got to work. Sam smiled as he proudly showed off the incredible pencil portrait to his friends afterwards. Devon, from the Bronx, gained notoriety after spending hours traveling on the subway every day in search of people to draw for his 'COVID mask subway drawing' series in 2020.
