Strictly Come Dancing fans have praised the show for signing a blind contestant but have urged BBC to do even more to increase disability representation. On Saturday reports emerged that comedian and CBeebies actor Chris McCausland, 46, who will be the show's first ever blind celebrity, having lost his sight aged 22 due to a hereditary condition, Retinitis Pigmentosa. After hearing the incredible news fans were in full admiration of the Strictly for increasing disability representation in the programme.
